BGS Progress-Report

Bhartiya Gramotthan Sanstha is a Non Government Organization, founded by Uttarakhand Rajya Shilp Ratna Awardee Shri Prakash Mohan Chandola in1989. It is a registered society under Indian Societies Registration Act 1860 and operating from Rishikesh, Uttrakhand, India BGS is a voluntary organization working for poverty alleviation and empowerment of underprivileged families by enriching their lives. We do this through well planned and comprehensive projects in livelihoods, education, health and environment conservation. The area of operation covers entire Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh and focused operational area is garhwal region of uttarakhand. At the gross root level BGS, closely works with women centric community institution (Self Help Groups) and their federation. The ultimate goal is empowerment of poor & underprivileged women through improvement in their best livelihoods
